The sensational Jodie Comer is a must-see. I was in awe. Pure exhilaration washes over us — because we have just witnessed the emergence of an extraordinary new stage talent. Comer goes into the upper echelons of greatness. This won’t be her last standing ovation on Broadway

JODIE COMER IS F–CKING REMARKABLE, ASTOUNDING, A PERFORMANCE APPROACHING MIRACULOUS. The emotional and physical toll of a performance like this is, and the truths it brings to light, is akin to a public service. A night of theater that not only speaks to the culture but shifts it as well.

Jodie Comer doesn’t just take the stage. She consumes it. Director Justin Martin injects supersonic dramatic fuel into Suzie Miller’s rocket-propelled play. It’s the kind of evening from which you don’t instantly rebound. You slowly recover.

THE WASHINGTON POST

The play is a blunt polemic against a patriarchal legal system weighted against female victims of sexual violence; Comer’s performance and Martin’s staging deepens the text into a one of the most electrifying pieces of theatre on Broadway this season.
